Job description
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of server hardware and networking equipment.
- Execute routine hardware installations, upgrades, and decommissioning tasks.
- Monitor and respond to system alerts and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and inventory used.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
- Knowledge in the hyperscaler space, liquid cooling, and AI/ML type hosts, particularly GPU-based systems.
- Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers 1-3, TCP/UDP, DHCP handshake, subnetting) and hands-on hardware experience, especially with home labs or GPU architecture.
- 2-3+ years of prior IT related experience with previous Data Center/Cabling exp.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing to commute out to the areas of Boardman, Umatilla and Hermiston, OR.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
