Job description

As an IT Support Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering first-class IT support across the organisation. Working as part of a collaborative IT team, you will provide technical assistance to users, ensuring systems and applications are running efficiently and effectively. This is a hybrid position offering a mix of office-based and remote working, alongside exposure to a wide range of technologies and project work., * Provide day-to-day support to the IT Service Desk, resolving incidents and service requests

  • Support and troubleshoot business-critical software applications
  • Deliver high-quality 1st and 2nd line support to end users
  • Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and system improvements
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update IT knowledge bases
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and third-party suppliers
  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of issues, Microsoft 365, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Windows 10/11, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Service Desk, IT Support, 1st Line Support, 2nd Line Support, ITIL, Ticketing Systems, Incident Management, Remote Support, TeamViewer, VPN, Networking Basics, Hardware Support, Software Troubleshooting, User Administration, Group Policy (GPO), Endpoint Support, Desktop Support

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in an IT Support or Service Desk environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365) including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Experience with Active Directory (user administration, group policies, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience delivering remote support using tools such as TeamViewer or similar
  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems and standard desktop environments
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and ITIL-based processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
