EDI Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented problem solver to support and optimize EDI operations while improving data visibility and workflow efficiency across the business. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely electronic transactions with customers and vendors, while also building reporting and automation solutions that enhance day-to-day operations.

You'll work cross-functionally with teams like purchasing, sales, warehouse, and accounting to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve overall system performance. What You'll Do

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions (including 850s, 856s, 810s, and related documents) to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between EDI data and internal systems
• Collaborate with trading partners and EDI providers to onboard, test, and maintain integrations
• Build and maintain automated reports for order status, inventory, fulfillment, and vendor performance
• Develop and enhance workflows using tools like Excel, Power Query, SQL, or automation platforms
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation and AI-driven tools
• Document data flows, processes, and system logic to support scalability and consistency
