Job description
- Perform basic maintenance including, but not limited to, installing or replacing system components as needed.
- Provide support for configuring software, creating automated procedures, setting up menus, organizing hard drives, maintaining communication links, and installing upgrades.
- Monitor safety and security infrastructure.
- Create and coordinate the maintenance of school and district databases.
- Maintain detailed records of problems and solutions with hardware and/or software; provide accountability for services rendered.
- Work on projects at all district locations as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma and 5 years experience working with Intel based PC's OR
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with three years of direct technology work experience
- Valid SC driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a networked environment
- Thorough working knowledge of all operating systems and network applications
- Working knowledge of Mocrosoft Office Professional including the ability to provide support and templates
