Job description

A Desktop Support position providing technical assistance to staff, managing computer hardware/software, and resolving network issues. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop systems, printers, and peripheral devices to ensure high-quality care support. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize disruption in clinical or administrative areas. User Support: Provide technical assistance for operating systems and software applications used within the hospital system. Documentation: Log all support requests and actions taken within a ticketing system

Requirements

Experience: Experience with desktop hardware/software troubleshooting is usually required, often with specialized experience required for higher-level positions (e.g., Specialist II). Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and network configuration. Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for effective communication with healthcare providers and staff. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues under pressure.

This is a Contract position based out of Pontiac, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
