You will play an important role behind the scenes, helping ensure student information is accurate, reports are produced on time, and staff have the data they need to support pupil progress.
The school is looking for someone who is detail-focused, reliable, and confident using systems such as SIMS.
What You'll Be Doing
You will support the smooth running of the school's data function by:
- Maintaining accurate student records including attendance, behaviour, admissions, and assessment data
- Using SIMS (or similar MIS systems) to update and manage information
- Producing reports for senior leaders, teachers, and pastoral teams
- Assisting with school census returns and statutory submissions
- Supporting reporting cycles, progress checks, and parent reports
- Helping staff with data queries and system support
- Ensuring all information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR regulations
- Looking for ways to improve systems and make processes more efficient

Requirements
- Previous experience in a school data or administration role
- Experience using SIMS or another school MIS system
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and data handling
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisation and the ability to meet deadlines
- A professional and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
