IT Project Manager

Robert Half is seeking a Project Manager to support a public-sector organization within the municipal/government industry based in Kent, WA. This role is supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT and technology initiatives, including software systems, infrastructure, and business process improvements. • Establish project objectives, scope, timelines, and resource plans while coordinating availability across cross-functional teams
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirements, risks, mitigation plans, and status reports
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, leadership, and project sponsors
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external professional services as needed
• Ensure deployed solutions include appropriate documentation, training, and ongoing support planning
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while resolving conflicts and implementation challenges
• Align technology solutions with business strategies, operational needs, and organizational standards

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management within a complex or enterprise environment
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
• Lead cross-functional projects involving IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and enterprise technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting, * Prior experience with public sector or municipal organizations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
