Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology projects within a thriving organization. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring project success and alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple IT projects through all phases, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope and budget.
  • Define project goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs while managing project budgets and financial tracking.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure seamless execution.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between business leaders and project teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of project management methodologies and best practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-15 years of professional experience, with 5-10 years specifically in IT project management.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale IT projects with budgets exceeding $1M.
  • Strong understanding of IT development lifecycles, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or ServiceNow.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and forecasting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
