Job description

  • Provide technical support via email, phone, or face-to-face on client sites
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose various IT issues using a diverse technology stack
  • Assist clients with Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
  • Set up remote access VPNs as required
  • Manage and support Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for on-site support

This IT Support Engineer role is office-based, and candidates must be able to commute daily, with occasional travel to customer sites when necessary. Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Customer service experience with a high standard of customer service
  • Knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
  • Basic networks diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
  • Commercial experience working with Azure
  • Remote access VPN setup
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Exemplary telephone manner
  • Microsoft certifications (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of VMWare & Hyper-V deployment (beneficial)
  • Understanding of WAN, LAN, WLAN, NAT, Firewalls (beneficial)
  • MS Exchange administration experience (beneficial)
  • Previous experience working in an agency or MSP (beneficial)
  • Telephony administration exposure (beneficial)
