Treo Recruitment is proud to be supporting a growing and well-established IT services provider in their search for two ICT Support Technicians / Field Engineers.
Our client delivers high-quality IT support and digital transformation projects across the education, SME, and non-profit sectors, and due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional seeking a varied, hands-on role with strong career progression.
This is a field-based IT support role working across primary and secondary schools.
You will:
- Provide on-site technical support
- Work closely with a central Service Desk team
- Ensure issues are resolved efficiently and in line with SLAs
- Deliver a high standard of customer service

- Support cloud-based systems and backup solutions
- Troubleshoot Windows environments and end-user devices
- Provide support for MIS and finance systems
- Maintain and repair interactive classroom technology
- Collaborate with the Service Desk team to resolve support tickets
- Assist with IT installations and rollout projects
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT Support / Field Engineer / Helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment and troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Understanding of LAN/WAN networking
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience within the education sector
- Knowledge of MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor)
- Experience with audio visual / classroom technology, * Minimum 5 GCSEs (including Maths & English)
- Level 3 IT qualification / apprenticeship (or equivalent)
