IT Support Engineer

We're working with a forward-thinking MSP based in St Albans that's built a reputation for developing engineers quickly and giving them real exposure to modern technologies. They're now looking for an experienced 2nd Line Engineer with a strong MSP background to join their growing technical team.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to move beyond day-to-day support and accelerate their career into cloud infrastructure and cyber security. You'll be working closely with senior engineers on escalations, infrastructure improvements, and project work, gaining hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, and security-focused environments. Engineers here don't stay static - there's a clear, proven progression path into 3rd Line, Infrastructure, and Cyber roles, with structured development and regular salary progression as your technical capability grows.

• Minimum 2 years' experience within an MSP environment (essential)
• Strong experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory & Microsoft 365
• Good networking knowledge - DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls
• Full UK driving licence (client site visits required)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Desire to progress into Cloud or Cyber Security roles
