Job description
We are seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on training in telecom and data center technologies. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical background who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and guiding teams in a classroom and lab environment. You will spend the majority of your time delivering instructor-led training, supporting onboarding, and ensuring learners gain practical, real-world technical skills., * Deliver high-volume technical training sessions (classroom + hands-on labs)
- Facilitate onboarding programs for new employees
- Explain telecom and data center concepts (fiber optics, structured cabling, infrastructure)
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and additional support to learners as needed
- Track trainee progress, performance, and completion metrics
- Collaborate with trainers, SMEs, and leadership to improve training delivery
- Assist in reviewing and enhancing training materials
- Set up and maintain training labs, equipment, and classroom environments
- Coordinate training schedules, attendance, and logistics
- Stay updated with industry best practices in telecom and data center technologies
Requirements

3-6 years of hands-on experience in:

Data Centers / Telecom / Fiber / Structured Cabling / Low Voltage
Experience training, mentoring, or guiding team members (formal or informal)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Basic proficiency in MS (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to training delivery or classroom facilitation
- Certifications such as BICSI (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with data center operations, rack & stack, or network infrastructure

- Standard hours: ~7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Instructor-led classroom environment (24-30 learners per class)
