Building large-scale video streaming and on-board entertainment platforms require a high level of flexibility and performant APIs. At Axinom, our pursuit of building modular content supply chain workflows required an API-first approach. To develop that, we did some extensive research on the best API development methodologies. We found that GraphQL gave us the desired level of expressiveness together with strong typing, and PostGraphile paired well with our goals of rapid development, scalability & performance.
