Job description

We are seeking a dynamic AV Support Technician specializing in Microsoft Teams Rooms, audio visual systems, and field support to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be the frontline expert responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of audio visual and telecommunication systems across various client sites. Your energetic approach will ensure seamless communication experiences for our clients, empowering their meetings and collaborations with cutting-edge technology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service that drives productivity and connectivity., * Install, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms systems, including video conferencing hardware and software components.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to audio visual equipment, computer hardware, telecommunication devices, and software applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on AV equipment, cabling infrastructure, and related electronic systems using hand tools and mechanical knowledge.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose system faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage low voltage cabling installations, including routing, termination, and testing to meet safety standards and technical specifications.
  • Perform field service tasks such as site surveys, system upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop detailed schematics for new installations or system modifications while adhering to electrical and E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Professional networking?, * Proven experience with electrical systems including low voltage wiring, telecommunication infrastructure, and electronic device troubleshooting.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware components, schematics interpretation, and software troubleshooting processes.
  • Familiarity with E & I standards, schematics reading, cabling practices, and electrical safety protocols.
  • Prior field service experience supporting AV or telecommunication systems in diverse environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with proactive communication abilities to coordinate with clients and team members effectively.
  • Electrical experience or certification is highly desirable; familiarity with telecommunication standards is a plus.
