IT Operations Manager *Contract to Hire

HR Mango is partnering with a global technology and consulting services firm to hire an experienced IT Operations Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the performance, security, and scalability of the company’s internal IT environment while supporting employees across the U.S., LATAM, and India.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution. You’ll lead internal IT operations, mentor an early-career support team, improve processes, and ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable technology environment as the organization continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day internal IT operations across a global workforce.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and endpoint management.
• Manage user lifecycle processes, identity and access management, device provisioning, and security policies.
• Oversee SaaS applications, licensing, integrations, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, compliance, and operational health through reporting and metrics.
• Develop, document, and improve IT processes, workflows, and operational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, automation, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, endpoint management, and internal IT governance.
• Lead, mentor, and support an early-career internal IT team while providing technical guidance and accountability.
• Serve as a hands-on technical resource for complex troubleshooting, escalations, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to align IT operations with business growth and organizational goals.

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or Internal IT leadership.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring an IT support or systems administration team.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft 365
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
• Microsoft Intune
• Endpoint management and device lifecycle administration
• Identity and access management (IAM)
• Experience administering SaaS platforms, user provisioning, and license management.
• Strong understanding of IT security, compliance, endpoint security, and operational best practices.
• Experience creating operational documentation, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Microsoft certifications (M365, Azure, Intune, or related) are a plus., * Entra ID: 3 years (Required)
