Job description

  • Supporting the maintenance and operation of student information systems (SITS) and related education technology platforms
  • Troubleshooting system issues, user problems and data discrepancies within education management environments
  • Contributing to system configuration, customization and enhancement projects
  • Collaborating with academic administration, student services and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Documenting system changes, processes and technical specifications
  • Supporting testing and deployment of system updates and new features

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience working with student information systems (SITS) or comparable education technology platforms
  • Strong understanding of education sector workflows, the student lifecycle and academic administration processes
  • Experience with system configuration, SQL scripting, reporting tools and data management within education environments
  • Problem-solving capability and attention to detail in a regulated, data-sensitive context
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Willingness to support continuous learning and professional development within education technology

Benefits & conditions

  • Type: Contract · Full-time
  • Day Rate: £250-280 per day (or £380-450 per day, dependent on experience and engagement terms)
