Job description

Building and maintaining responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript
Collaborating with backend engineers to integrate APIs and microservices
Contributing to front-end architecture decisions and code quality standards
Writing clean, testable code and participating in peer review
Working within Agile teams to deliver features iteratively
Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
Supporting deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices where relevant to front-end delivery

Requirements

What you could bringMost roles of this type require the following:Must-have

5-10 years’ software development experience, with strong React proficiency
Solid JavaScript fundamentals and working knowledge of modern ES6+ patterns
Experience building web applications in team environments
Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks
Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery
Knowledge of APIs, microservices or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Certifications such as Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE), or freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code tools
Excel proficiency for data management or reporting
