Job description

As our Digital Content & Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality content across a range of digital and print channels, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.

You will develop content aligned with our Recognise, Respond, Recover framework, producing compelling service-user stories and recovery-focused communications that reflect our mission and values.

You will manage our social media presence, plan and schedule content, monitor engagement, and build an active online community while supporting awareness campaigns and promotional activities. You will also maintain and update website content, develop SEO-friendly landing pages, and help optimise website performance through ongoing monitoring and improvements.

Working as part of the wider marketing team, you will support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of both paid and organic digital campaigns. Using website and social media analytics, you will produce regular performance reports and use data-driven insights to continually refine and improve content and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience creating digital content.
  • Experience in video and visual content creation.
  • Experience managing social media platforms.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
  • Experience using content management systems.
  • Strong organisational skills.

Desirable

  • Charity, healthcare or third-sector experience.
  • Experience with Google Analytics.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
