Job description

NexaPoint Health is hiring a Healthcare Implementation Specialist to lead on-site implementations of EHR/EMR, AI documentation, and telehealth solutions for healthcare providers across Oklahoma.

This is a highly client-facing role where you’ll partner directly with physicians, nurses, front office teams, billing staff, and clinic leadership to successfully implement healthcare technology from planning through go-live. You’ll serve as a trusted implementation partner, helping organizations confidently adopt new technology while improving workflows and patient care.

Success in this role requires more than technical expertise. We’re looking for someone who builds trust quickly, communicates with confidence, stays calm under pressure, and guides healthcare teams through change with professionalism and empathy.

When you’re not traveling to client sites, you’ll work from our Oklahoma City office alongside our implementation and operations teams., * Lead on-site software implementations and go-live activities.

  • Travel frequently to healthcare client sites throughout Oklahoma and surrounding areas.
  • Train physicians, providers, clinical staff, front office teams, billing teams, and administrators.
  • Observe, document, and improve clinic workflows.
  • Translate clinical workflows into effective system configuration and usage.
  • Support implementation of EHR/EMR, AI documentation, and telehealth solutions.
  • Coordinate and support the setup of hardware and technology required for successful client implementations.
  • Serve as the primary implementation contact, building trusted relationships with healthcare providers throughout the implementation process.
  • Document implementation progress, issues, enhancement requests, client feedback, and prepare implementation reports and project updates.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Billing, and Customer Success teams.
  • Represent NexaPoint Health professionally at every client interaction.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience implementing EHR/EMR systems or healthcare technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare and clinic workflows.
  • Experience training healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable traveling extensively to client sites.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Experience using Google Workspace and business productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a medical practice, clinic, or healthcare environment.
  • Experience implementing healthcare software in live clinical settings.
  • Experience with AI documentation or telehealth platforms.
  • Experience creating workflow documentation and training materials.
