Part-Time IT Support & Field Services Contractor

Egan Technology Services is seeking a dependable, customer-focused part-time IT Support & Field Services Contractor to assist with customer support, onsite service calls, installations, troubleshooting, and general business technology services., * Provide professional, friendly customer service to business clients

• Troubleshoot computers, printers, networks, internet connectivity, phones, and other technology issues
• Assist with installation and support of business phone systems, surveillance systems, networking equipment, and related technology - this will require running and terminating ethernet cable.
• Help with managed IT support tasks including updates, backups, cybersecurity, and general system maintenance
• Perform onsite service calls and remote support as needed
• Document work completed, customer issues, and follow-up items
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Maintain confidentiality when working with customer systems and data
• Represent the company professionally at customer locations

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a professional attitude, and a solid understanding of computers, networks, internet service, business phone systems, video surveillance, cybersecurity, backups, and general IT support., * Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Prior IT, technical support, or field service experience preferred
• General knowledge of computers, networking, Wi-Fi, phone systems, surveillance systems, and cybersecurity best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and explain solutions clearly
• Reliable transportation
