Job description
We’re seeking a Part-Time Social Media, Showroom & Interior Design Assistant to support daily operations in our custom furniture and upholstery showroom. This role is ideal for interior design students, creative majors, or career changers interested in gaining hands-on experience in a real-world design and small business environment.
You’ll work directly with customers, assist with orders, support social media, and gain exposure to custom furniture, materials, and design processes.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom
- Take customer orders and write work orders
- Assist with interior design-related tasks (fabric selection, showroom displays, organization)
- Post and schedule social media content
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom
- Support day-to-day administrative tasks
Requirements
- Interest in interior design, social media, or small business operations
- Friendly, professional communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and punctual
Experience
- No prior experience required
- Interior design coursework or retail experience is a plus, but not required
