IT Support Engineer (12 Months Fixed Term)

We’re looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Durham. This is a hands-on, on-site role providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users, ensuring excellent customer service and timely resolution of technical issues., * Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software and user queries.

• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, mobile device and application issues.
• Manage user accounts and permissions (Active Directory/Microsoft 365).
• Build, configure and deploy IT equipment.
• Escalate complex issues where required and maintain accurate support documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service while meeting SLAs.

• Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience with hardware builds, troubleshooting and end-user support.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach.
