Job description

As a senior Redis/NoSQL database administrator (DBA) in the Enterprise Database Services Organization, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the design, implementation, and management of Redis database solutions for our customers. You’ll engage customers, assist with onboarding applications, and ensure seamless integration from start to finish. You’ll also support the growth and expansion of our Redis footprint, with an initial focus on managing the integration of a merger and acquisition environment into our classic footprint.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering) and a minimum four years of related work experience with database application development, database administration, and/or operating system administration with RDBMS.

  • In lieu of degree, a minimum of six years related work experience with database application development, database administration, and/or operating system administration with RDBMS may be accepted., * Experience running Redis databases in both private and public cloud environments
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Knowledge of configuration management, automation, and orchestration (e.g. Azure DevOps, Lambdas, Azure functions)
  • Knowledge of network and application connectivity concepts (e.g. APIs, IAM, proxy, gateways, Azure Key Vault/AWS KMS)
  • Learning agility and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of technical solutions, Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need, of current or future sponsorship for employment.
