Job description
A ServiceNow ITAM Developer designs, builds, and maintains IT Asset Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). Key duties involve scripting (), configuring , building , managing the , optimizing asset lifecycles, ensuring licensing compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions., * Development & Customization: Configure and customize the ITAM module (HAM/SAM) using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
- Integration: Build integrations with discovery tools, procurement systems, and SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS) via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the acquisition, tracking, utilization, and disposition of hardware and software assets.
- Data Management: Maintain CMDB integrity, ensure data accuracy, and resolve data conflicts.
- Compliance: Implement solutions for software licensing compliance and governance.
- Collaboration: Work with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
- Platform Maintenance: Support platform upgrades, patches, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Strong JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting (Glide APIs), REST/SOAP, CMDB, HAM, SAM.
- Certifications (Preferred): (CSA), (CAD).
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in SAM or HAM.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
