Help Desk Technician

We currently have an opening for a Help Desk Technician position available at our office in Cheney. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, can maintain high levels of customer service, can work in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, has excellent written and verbal skills, enjoys learning and embraces change.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responds to IT help desk calls and provides the proper support necessary to handle the call in a timely manner. Also responsible for documenting the resolution in the ticketing system
• Manages and performs the requisition, installation, implementation and maintenance of PC hardware, and Software.
• Assist in creation and accomplishment of department action plans that support the company’s strategic business plans.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participate in appropriate training.
• Manages user profiles, ensuring adequate overall physical and logical security measures are in effect and followed.
• Facilitate all move, add, and change requests by administrating the rights and privileges in various systems, as well and providing hands on move support.
• Provide training to employees either in person, training classes, or in virtual class settings.
• Build positive relationships with other departments through professional conduct and excellent communication.

Education/Experience: To perform this job successfully, it is preferred individuals have:

• A High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
• A+ Certification
