Job description

The Customer Experience Team is transforming how we use digital solutions across the organisation to support the council in increasing its impact on the people and communities who need us most. We are looking for a Digital Content Designer who can create engaging and informative digital content across multiple channels, including the corporate website, intranet, microsites, and other future digital platforms. Ensuring that digital content meets service and user needs and provides a positive user experience and that design, accessibility and brand standards are maintained. To provide leadership, guidance, and training to the Council community of content owners to analyse content / search analytics and feedback to continually improve user experience and engagement., Internal candidates This position is a 12-month secondment to cover maternity leave External candidates This position is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Requirements

Experience in writing clear, usable, and accessible digital content, and have strong verbal, written and visual communication skills that you can tailor to the needs of the audience. Have experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, and SharePoint. The ability to develop and foster successful, working relationships with multiple teams and stakeholders.
