Data Infrastructure Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Data Infrastructure Analyst to play a key role in building and scaling Azure-based data infrastructure. You will work on cloud-first projects, helping to design, automate, and optimise environments that support critical data and analytics initiatives. • Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure to support data and analytics platforms.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Bicep.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.
• Support Azure services including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking, and Key Vault.
• Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to infrastructure standards and best practices.
• Work closely with data, engineering, and platform teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.
• Support ongoing enhancement of infrastructure automation and operational efficiency.

• Strong commercial experience building and managing Azure infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Advanced scripting skills using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Experience working with Azure services including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Key Vaults, and Log Analytics.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and infrastructure best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver scalable solutions.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Azure certifications are beneficial but not essential.
