Job description
- Provide 1st line and 2nd line support for IT-related issues via teams, email or in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems
- Assist with the setup of new user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Support remote users and ensure they have access to required systems
- Collaborate with the wider IT team to maintain system security and performance
- Contribute to ongoing IT projects and system upgrades
- Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades and new technology implementations
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems,
- Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking
- Familiarity with IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial due to the regular travel to offices across London.

About the company
As a dynamic and growing accountancy firm with over 1,200 employees, we are seeking a Junior IT Engineer to join our innovative and forward-thinking IT team, to support the Dains group.
As a Junior IT Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems. You will be a point of contact for resolving technical issues, providing efficient and effective support to colleagues across various departments and offices.
