Job description
We are seeking a Life Sciences MES Solution Architect who can lead multiple MES implementations in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry. Engage directly with business stakeholders, design scalable MES architectures, and drive delivery across functional and technical teams. The emphasis is on implementation leadership, solution architecture, and pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise, rather than pure technical development.
Roles and Responsibilities
This role utilizes your deep understanding of the Manufacturing Execution System space. While below is a sample of the role, each unique project will provide you the opportunity to develop and grow your MES capabilities.
- Conduct discussions with senior leaders on functional solutions within MES
- Lead discussions with business to understand needs and requirements, translating requirements into MES functionality, and collaborate with technical architects ensuring technically feasible and scalable technology application solutions
- Perform high-level functional and technical architecture, analysis, research, and design for MES solutions
- Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment
- Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise, strengthening Deloitte’s collective knowledge, and helping to resolve clients’ challenges
- Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice
- Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in MES’s newest and future solutions
Requirements
- Life Sciences MES experience
- 7+ years of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience.
- 7+ years of experience conducting the following activities: Business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional process design, data mapping, developing functional and technical specification documentation, system configuration, system testing (INT, UAT), solution delivery, customer support, process document creation and review, working with onsite and offshore delivery model.
- Experience using analytics and metrics to assess Manufacturing Performance and identify and quantify improvement opportunities.
- Experience leading 2+ MES implementations and System Architecture.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics.
