Central Business Systems is an Office Equipment Company and MSP that is celebrating over 70 years in business. We are located in Melville, NY. We are looking for an IT Engineer to join our team. The candidate must be able to support existing customer environments and new deployments. candidate must be proficient in implementing and maintaining all aspects of customer’s IT and Print Infrastructure . The ideal candidate has some knowledge working in a managed services delivery environment and utilizing both helpdesk ticketing systems and RMM tools. This position will include supporting our external clients both remotely and onsite at the client locations, as well as supporting our internal infrastructure. Candidates must be organized and accurately document their work. The candidate should possess the ability to work with a team as well as independently.

The qualified candidate has demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • New client onboarding
  • Local and Cloud Email migrations
  • Compliance and Risk assessments
  • Networking architecture and equipment (routers, firewalls, switches, cabling, etc.)
  • Wireless network assessments
  • Microsoft Office 365 migrations
  • Copier and Scanner Installs
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Managed Services and/or IT Consulting

  • Experience with RMM tools.
  • Experience with backup Solutions
  • Microsoft Windows Workstation & Server versions operating systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Availability to provide excellent customer service during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Demonstrates professionalism at all times
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Willing to travel locally
  • Must be willing to submit to background check
