Job description

The IT Technician Level I must be knowledgeable in software, hardware, networking, and other technical aspects. Acts as a liaison between Housing Works, Xerox and Comserv/BCMone (the outsourced IT companies), and other vendors regarding technology and infrastructure. Provide on-site support for end users to improve business productivity., * Working with the rest of the IT Department to complete projects including but not limited to:

  • Hardware upgrades and replacements
  • Windows refreshes
  • Asset collection and inventorying
  • Cable management and cleanup for server rooms and at end user desks
  • Acting as an escalation point for matters where our managed server provider requires hands-on or local support for troubleshooting
  • Maintaining IT compliance by auditing users for Secure Print capabilities
  • Preparing devices for deployment through a combination of SCCM, Intune, and other MDM software.
  • Working with the rest of the team to ensure devices are assigned and tracked properly
  • Maintaining e-waste inventory and ensuring it is disposed of properly.
  • Maintaining server rooms at all locations and making sure they are clean and receiving proper ventilation
  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation as we make changes to the environment and ensuring that users can refer to these for their benefit.
  • Providing technical support or training to users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related field.
  • Professional IT Certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Paid time off, Compensation Range: $26.4/hr - $26.9/hr commensurate with experience, We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget.
