Computer Technician

Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources SUBJECT: Computer Technician- Technology Services Department According to the terms of the contract, the following computer technician position is being advertised. Minimum Qualifications: *At least 3 years’ experience in the IT field *Experience in a Microsoft AD environment Preferred Qualifications: *Technical certifications such as A+ N+ *Microsoft certifications such as MCP, MCTS, MTA *Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 *Experience with a work order entry system and inventory system *Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Intune or other imaging/deployment software Duties and Responsibilities: *Support and maintain the district’s computer systems, such as desktops, laptops, and tablets as well as their peripherals. *Support and maintain all AV inventory, such as Interactive boards, document cameras, and sound systems. *Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal performance. *Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion. *Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance. *Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal. *Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations. *Report to the Senior Technician of Technology Services.
