Change Management Lead

The Change Management Lead facilitates enterprise change management governance for a federal agency customer, ensuring service stability, transparency, and stakeholder confidence while driving continuous improvement and positive user-experience outcomes across agency services. The Lead coordinates with cross-functional teams; oversees risk management, reporting, and performance monitoring; and ensures change management activities align with the customer’s mission priorities, operational requirements, and approved governance frameworks - leveraging automation and analytics wherever possible., * Own and facilitate the enterprise change management governance process, including Change Advisory Board (CAB) coordination, change calendars, and release oversight.

• Coordinate change activities across agency leadership, government stakeholders, the prime contractor team, and other contractor teams.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks associated with change activities; drive service stability, change success rates, and release quality.
• Oversee reporting, KPI/metric tracking, and performance monitoring for change and configuration management activities.
• Maintain consistency, compliance, and integration of change processes across enterprise systems and teams.
• Champion automation and analytics capabilities (e.g., ServiceNow workflows, dashboards) within customer-approved governance frameworks.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and post-implementation reviews; document lessons learned.

• 5+ years of experience in IT change management, release management, or ITSM governance (with Bachelor’s degree).
• Demonstrated leadership managing change governance processes in an enterprise or federal environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-coordination skills, including experience briefing senior leadership.
• Proficiency in risk identification, mitigation, and escalation for change activities.
• Working knowledge of automation and analytics capabilities supporting governance (dashboards, workflow automation, reporting).
• Experience with performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to obtain a federal Public Trust suitability determination., * Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (Change/CMDB modules), monitoring tools, and configuration repositories.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration and modernization initiatives; exposure to architectural leadership.
• Experience with vendor coordination and escalation handling on multi-contractor programs.
• Prior federal civilian agency experience.
• Certifications: CCMP, ITIL 4 Foundation or higher, or COBIT., * DMV Metro preferred; hybrid Government site / remote per customer direction, * Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust suitability determination; U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required
