Microservices Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Microservices Developer. You’ll build and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring, supporting the client’s broader e-commerce and digital platform. Work includes developing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs within a team-based, agile environment. You’ll be expected to use AI coding tools (Claude) as part of your daily workflow.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot/Framework

• Build and consume REST and GraphQL APIs

• Work within an existing team structure, reporting to an internal RCG tech lead

Use AI-assisted coding tools daily as part of standard development practice

• Mid-level+ experience (4+ years)

• Java, Spring (Boot/Framework), REST API development

• Practical, daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude or similar)

• GraphQL experience

• Microservices architecture/design experience (not just consuming services)

• NoSQL database experience
