Architect Custom Home Project Manager in Scottsdale

• Requirements: 2-3 years experience with custom home design & construction docs
• Practical experience with Paradise Valley, Scottsdale & Phoenix building and zoning codes.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD & Sketchup
• Bachelor degree in Architecture

We are seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of high end custom home experience, to be part of the design team with the principal architect to design and contribute to the production of drawings, and coordinate with consultants to deliver one of a kind exceptional traditional architectural projects. This position is ideal for an experienced designer who enjoys a collaborative environment, highly organized individual who wants to work closely with the Principal & can take a project from concept through construction.

The position could be either full time in our Old Town Scottsdale office or work with us on a contract basis, but candidates must live in the Phoenix metro area

About the Mike Higgins Michael was raised in Tempe, Arizona amid the many houses being constructed in the 1970’s. He developed a talent for design and construction at an early creating furniture and structures with his Father and friends. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design Science. He is a registered Architect in California and Arizona.

He founded Higgins Architects in 1994 with the goal of creating excellent design and catering to his client’s tastes and budgets. He received the coveted Phoenix Home & Garden - Master of the Southwest Award in 2009. He has raised the bar for excellence in home design with over 290 homes completed in Arizona alone.
