Job description

Job Summary - The Social Media Specialist is responsible for writing engaging content, creating captivating visuals and sparking conversations on social media channels to attract prospects for clients. You will manage daily client projects/accounts, devise campaign strategies and much, much more.

Major Responsibility Areas (MRAs)

  • Develop client social media plans including strategy, goals, channel identification, design, and advertising campaigns.
  • Content development for all types of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube)
  • Creative development for all types of social media posts (graphics, GIFs, videos, etc.)
  • Practice continued improvements leveraging data and trends.
  • Increase referral traffic through social media channels.
  • Analyze and report on data and trends for each client.

Requirements

Technical

  • Proficiency with social media channels and tools
  • Proficiency with scheduling platforms a must
  • Microsoft Office suite experience
  • Adobe Suite experience a plus
  • Video Editing experience a plus
  • Social Media Advertising Campaign experience
  • Prior client experience, more specifically B2B and non-profit preferred
  • Exceptional writer/editor
  • Outstanding graphic design skills

Interpersonal

  • Excellent communications competence (verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong time management and organization
  • Effective collection skills while maintaining sound Customer relations
  • Collaborator with ability to work across all levels of the organization

Education/Experience - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications and/or 3+ years’ related experience in social media.

CMA currently works on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office, and 2 days working remote.
