IT Technician

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
• Manage help desk systems to track, prioritize, and resolve user requests efficiently.
• Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS (Domain Name System), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting.
• Maintain and support operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Assist with hardware support including desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware failures or software conflicts.
• Manage user accounts using Active Directory and handle customer support ticket management to ensure timely resolution.
• Support IT infrastructure maintenance by configuring network devices, managing computer management tools, and ensuring system security.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze system performance issues and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
• Provide training or guidance to end-users on operating systems, software applications like Microsoft Office, and security best practices.

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, Linux operating systems, and related hardware components.
• Familiarity with Active Directory management for user account administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware components and peripherals effectively.
• Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of technical problems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and network security measures.
