Job description
As Social Media Specialist, you shape and manage the social media presence of the Nutrition Plant Engineering, one of GEA’s divisions. You ensure that our stories, campaigns, and expertise are visible, engaging, and consistent across relevant platforms. This role combines creative execution with performance awareness. You manage always on content, support campaign storytelling, and continuously improve our social media impact based on data and insights, working closely with our entire NPE Marketing team., * Plan, publish, and optimize always-on and campaign-driven content across social media platforms
- Support campaign storytelling and leadership communication through social channels
- Manage editorial calendars, scheduling, and day-to-day publishing
- Monitor engagement and performance and propose improvements based on data
- Experiment with new formats, platforms, and trends (e.g. short-form video, emerging channels)
- Plan, execute and[ track social media ads together with colleagues in the marketing teams
- Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and leadership colleagues
Requirements
- Strong experience - at least 3 years - in social media management, content creation, or digital communication
- Strong understanding of platform dynamics, trends, and performance metrics
- Comfortable working with both always-on content and campaign-based initiatives
- Creative mindset with the ability to translate technical or complex topics into engaging content
- Strong writing and visual sensibility, with attention to detail and brand consistency
- Data-aware: able to interpret performance insights and adjust content accordingly
- Collaborative and confident communicator in an international environment
