Job description

  • Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling.
  • Perform rack and stack of servers, switches, and other IT equipment.
  • Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, and power strips.
  • Read cabling diagrams and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including site inspections, equipment staging/uncrating, network hardware installation, documentation, and maintaining a safe work area.

Requirements

Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Center Server Technician (Rack Stack) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork abilities, which will align successfully with the organization., * 1+ year of structured cabling or data center experience.

  • Experience with rack and stack and IT hardware installation.
  • Ability to read cabling diagrams and follow technical documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
