Also payroll/W2/pay slips functional knowledge as well. About the Role: We are seeking a senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 HCM & Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise across EBS HCM modules, US Payroll , Absence, W-2, Fast formulas , Accrual Calculations, Concurrent Programs, Pay Run Results, US Tax, Payroll Data Marts, and strong technical skills in PL/SQL , Shell scripting, Reports, Forms, and BI/XML Publisher. The role includes full-cycle implementation work, solution leadership, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: HCM, Payroll & Performance Management (Techno Functional). Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS R12 HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, and Absence. Manage end-to-end US Payroll configuration (earnings, deductions, tax rules, balances, costing, retro calculations). Deliver statutory payroll outputs: W-2, Pay Slip, Statement of Earnings. Support integration with GL, AP, and other systems; perform requirements gathering, UAT, issue resolution, and user documentation. Develop advanced PL/SQL programs (packages, functions, ETL, performance tuning). Experience in shell scripts and generating PDF files using the PL/SQL Packages. Configure, schedule, and troubleshoot Concurrent Programs (PL/SQL, host/shell, Request Sets). Thorough knowledge of US Payroll Processes and Reports. Develop reports using BI/XML Publisher, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Forms. Create Shell scripts for automation, payroll processing, integrations, and archival flows. Build integrations using APIs, Open Interfaces, SFTP, and custom RICEW components. Data, Reporting & Data Mart Development. Design and implement a Payroll Historical Data Mart for historic balance snapshots, multi-period analytics, and retro/true-up history. Build ETL processes using EBS core payroll tables (PAY_BALANCE_VALUES, PAY_RUN_RESULTS, HR/PER tables). Deliver high-performance reporting for Finance, Audit, and HR analytics. US Tax & Payroll Reporting, Compliance: Deep knowledge of US Payroll tax regulations (federal, state, local). Support tax updates, regulatory patches, and year-end balancing/W-2 processes. Support, Integration & Lifecycle Management. Root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Perform UAT, regression testing, and multi-environment migrations. Deliver end-user training and create SOPs, process maps. Archival & Data Governance. Implement payroll data archival strategies and retention policies. Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, and data governance requirements. Required Qualifications (Must-Have) 7+ years of Oracle EBS R12 HCM & Payroll techno-functional experience. Deep understanding of Oracle EBS HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Performance Management). HRMS Fast Formulas (Payroll & Absence) creation, debugging, and maintenance. End-to-end Oracle EBS full-cycle implementations. Strong expertise in US Payroll, including configuration, processing, and compliance. Strong knowledge of Pay Run Results and related payroll tables. Ability to extract W-2 information from the EBS Tables. Ability to extract data from the Pay Result tables or do reporting on the US Statement of Earnings. Advanced PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and Shell scripting skills. Knowledge of Payroll, HCM Tables and stored procedures Expertise in Concurrent Programs, BI/XML Publisher, Reports, and Forms. Ability to design and implement Payroll Data Marts and analytics pipelines. Solid understanding of US Payroll Tax regulations and statutory updates. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent Report Writing using BI Templates. Nice to Have Oracle APEX Report Development. Integrations via OIC, Object Storage, Data Bricks, or other downstream systems. Exposure to hybrid EBS-Cloud HCM transformation projects, Data Archival Projects
