  • Skill Enhancement: Whether you’re new to your role or seeking to deepen your expertise, IPS provides resources and support for continuous improvement., This position is responsible for coordinating and administering break-fix solutions for digital devices, organizing stock, and utilizing asset systems to track these devices. This position will be required to follow procedures that promote accurate inventory of digital devices. This person will utilize one or more of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) environments for imaging and troubleshooting. They may also be responsible for providing on-site support, diagnostics and repairs on staff and student digital devices, peripherals, and software applications as well as assisting in troubleshooting network related issues when needed., * Focused responsibility administering our asset management system for Digital Strategy and support other departments who utilize it

  • Work with a mobile device vendor to resolve issues with service or billing, escalating as needed.

Manipulate data within an inventory system to provide accurate inventory that can be used for reporting and projection of future needs

  • Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain all supported digital devices

  • Utilize a ticketing system or other methods to communicate with users and attend to and resolve technical issues or questions for Device Manager and cellular support

  • Field visits for auditing and support of the Device Manager Program

  • Assist Digital Device Support team as needed with project-based work, On a regular day, as the Asset Administrator / Device Support Engineer, you might:
  • Field, resolve, or redistribute all work orders related to the student 1:1 program and cellular requests.
  • Process and publish inventory reporting to verify and maintain standards of devices across the district
  • Supplement the Asset Manager in warranty returns and maintaining/organizing device and part inventory at Digital Device Services central location
  • Work on an ongoing project with the Manager of Digital Device Services and MDM team to streamline the process on how devices are sent out and moved back into inventory from warranty repair., * Contribute heavily to the overall design and implementation of device management procedures within the district

Requirements

Do you have experience in Employee relationship building?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently

  • Work effectively independently and within a team setting

  • Create and maintain effective working relationships with both co-workers and customers

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree (A. S.) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing client-side and/or break-fix support of personal computers or cellular devices.

  • Preferred: 2+ years experience managing assets and asset management systems for a medium to large sized business

  • Considerable general knowledge of computers and computer-based systems across all platforms, including the use of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace
