IT Asset Management Technician

We are seeking an IT Asset Management Technician to support the day-to-day management of enterprise IT hardware throughout its entire lifecycle. This role is heavily focused on warehouse operations, asset tracking, inventory control, hardware deployment, and secure equipment handling within a regulated environment., * Receive, stage, store, ship, and track IT hardware throughout its lifecycle.

• Maintain accurate inventory records using asset management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Reconcile purchase orders, verify shipments, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate hardware deployments, returns, and refresh activities for IT teams and end users.
• Perform scheduled equipment deliveries and pickups using a company vehicle.
• Prepare laptops, desktops, and peripherals for deployment.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and coordinate warranty repairs (RMAs) with vendors.
• Execute secure data wipes, hardware retirement, and end-of-life asset disposition.
• Maintain accurate lifecycle documentation and ensure compliance with internal security and audit requirements.
• Partner with workstation, networking, procurement, and security teams to support enterprise hardware standards.
• Assist with process improvements and maintain documentation related to warehouse and asset management operations.

• Experience working with asset management or ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and inventory management processes.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to transport IT equipment between locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise systems.
• Basic knowledge of desktop hardware, laptops, peripherals, and warranty repair processes.
• Experience supporting regulated or compliance-driven environments.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to regularly lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 70 pounds and perform activities including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout the workday.
