Job description

We’re seeking a skilled and service- oriented Network Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance a complex LAN/WAN environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and collaborating with users to keep critical systems running smoothly.

As a Network Administrator, you’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless equipment, and cabling. You’ll play a key role in ensuring reliable connectivity, supporting VOIP systems, and continuously improving network performance and security., * Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network switching, routing, and wireless equipment

  • Monitor WAN connections and perform protocol, analog, and digital testing
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and asset databases
  • Provide first level support for Cisco VOIP and analog phone systems
  • Install and maintain network cabling as needed
  • Work closely with users to assess needs, resolve issues, and provide guidance
  • Stay current with networking technologies and recommend system improvements
  • Collaborate professionally with internal staff, vendors, and external partners
  • Follow all safety, health, and best-practice standards

Requirements

Do you have experience in WAN?, * Two years of college or technical training in information systems, networking, or a related field

  • Two years of experience installing and repairing LAN/WAN equipment (routers, switches, cabling, physical layer troubleshooting)
  • Hands-on experience with Hewlett Packard network switches

Preferred / Desirable Experience:

  • Microsoft Windows Server (up to 2012) and Windows 7
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013 and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscalers
  • Next-generation firewalls and Firepower services
  • Proxy servers, firewalls, mail spam servers, and VPNs
