Job description

Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure
Manage Windows environments including servers, desktops, Active Directory, and Azure AD
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve risks
Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and execution
Automate and optimize systems and processes where possible
Manage monitoring, asset tracking, and deployment tools
Implement system updates, patches, and integrations to improve performance and security
Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and system standards
Contribute to IT projects and initiatives to improve infrastructure reliability
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in System Administration roles
Strong hands-on experience with Windows servers and operating systems
Experience managing desktops, laptops, and end-user environments
Expertise with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Group Policy
Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint administration)
Experience with remote management and monitoring tools (Pulseway or similar)
Experience with asset tracking systems (AssetSonar or similar)
Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V)
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications
Ability to work hands-on while contributing to SOP development and process improvement
Preferred experience: Zoom and Meraki, Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or Ansible)
