Sr. Desktop Support Technician

We have a career opening for Desktop Support Technician to support Regional Level Application Software (RLAS) at USARC in the Fort Dix, NJ area under general supervision. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance., Desktop Support Technician will perform troubleshooting and related tasks in support of RLAS.

PRIMARY RESPOSIBILITIES: Day to day Responsibilities include:

• Provide 2nd level support for RLAS application issues.
• Follow documented processes and provide recommendations for process improvement.
• Ability to document issues and escalate as required based on impact.
• Ability to update daily task logs and event tracking.
• Ability to update status reports.

• Level II DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance, * Comptia Security+ CE
• Experience using an enterprise ticketing system.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft based applications and technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate capacity for organization and prioritization in a dynamically changing environment.
• Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member., * ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
• Experience with RLAS

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent and 6+ years of related experience., · This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret) · Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required
