Job description
The IT Hardware Specialist will help be responsible for enterprise-wide inventory of hardware and software assets at Lippert., To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Inventory management for both hardware and software
- Procurement of IT equipment
- Identify opportunity for waste elimination and increased efficiencies by best utilizing existing assets resources
- Optimize asset spending within IT Support
- Development, implement, and maintain processes, standards, and policies relating to hardware asset management, 1. Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software
- Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license to make sure they complied with vendor contracts in different software tools
- Ensure effective management of the CMDB and that the content contained is accurate
- Provide supervision to staff of procurement analysts
- Provide KPI/Metric information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting demanded by management
- Responsible for managing lifecycle of hardware and software models in the DML right from their introduction to their retirement
- Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets
Requirements
- Knowledge of IT hardware and software
- 1-2 years of experience in IT asset management, 1. Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
- Effective time management skills, While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus., 1. High School Diploma or equivalent
- A+ Certifications
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
