Scrum Master

You will support two Agile squads dedicated to IT Continuity and Operational Resilience, ensuring efficient delivery while promoting Agile best practices. In this environment, the Scrum Master also contributes to backlog management and supports Product Owner activities, with a strong focus on operational (“Run”) activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives).
• Coach and support Agile teams in applying Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
• Manage and prioritize the team backlog together with business stakeholders.
• Monitor sprint progress, team capacity and velocity.
• Remove impediments and help teams achieve sprint objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement and team self-organization.
• Support backlog refinement and Definition of Done (DoD) implementation.
• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Produce Agile reporting and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Act as an Agile ambassador across the organization., Nexeo is currently looking for an IT Continuity Process & Reporting Officer to strengthen an IT Continuity & Resilience team.

You will contribute to ensuring the organization’s ability to respond effectively to major IT disruptions while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

This role combines IT governance, operational resilience, reporting and regulatory compliance within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve IT Continuity processes in line with regulatory and internal standards.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and evidence.
• Track audit findings and coordinate remediation plans.
• Monitor risk mitigation actions and ensure timely implementation.
• Review and validate IT Disaster Recovery (DR) reports and documentation.
• Support application continuity governance and Business Impact Analysis activities.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and management reports.
• Prepare reporting for governance committees and regulatory stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance and Business teams.

• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Agile management tools such as Rally.
• Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and IT Production environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing and project management methodologies.
• Experience in IT Continuity, Disaster Recovery (DR) or Operational Resilience.
• Knowledge of DORA is a strong asset.
• Excellent coaching, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services.
• Knowledge of ITIL or Operational Resilience frameworks.
• Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM or equivalent)., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Continuity, IT Governance, IT Risk or Operational Resilience.
• Experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Strong reporting and dashboard creation skills.
• Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and Application Development.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English.

• Experience within the banking or financial sector.
• Knowledge of DORA, Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Management.
• Experience with audit coordination and regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of IT Governance frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT.
