Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer you will develop the pipelines that will enable the fast transformation of data to insights for our customers. You will closely work with our Data science team and Developers from our Digital team. We aspire to raise the bar and be a leading force in the 4th industrial revolution for the maritime industry.

Then we are looking for you!

As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Creating data pipelines required to offer our services to our customers
• Maintaininging data pipelines
• Co-authoring the IT infrastructure for our cloud based solutions
• Collaborating and sharing your knowledge with the Digital team members and wider IHC organization. *

• You are accustomed to work in an agile software development environment
• Are fluent in Scala, Python and/or other programming languages
• Are familiar with ETL, Streaming, Data Processing Frameworks and Data Visualization (think of Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Splunk, Grafana)
• Have experience with CI/CD

• Vast amounts of Data from our Vessels & Equipment and the context in which they work in
• An industry at the very beginning of the digital revolution
