Job description

Our client is a well-established mechanical and HVAC contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance services. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Maintenance Support Administrator to join their friendly, supportive office team based in Orsett, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administration background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting engineers, liaising with clients and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the maintenance department.

The Role

As a Maintenance Support Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for client enquiries and providing updates on engineer attendance and project progress
  • Preparing and issuing quotations for maintenance agreements and remedial works
  • Scheduling engineers’ site visits and managing their Outlook calendars
  • Chasing engineers for service reports following site visits
  • Tracking the delivery and collection of refrigerant cylinders
  • Updating and issuing mechanical service sheets to clients
  • Liaising with manufacturers and assisting with ordering materials
  • Providing general administrative support to the maintenance department

Requirements

Are you an organised Administrator looking for a varied office-based role where you’ll be at the heart of a busy engineering team?, * Previous administration experience

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your workload
  • Experience within the construction, engineering or maintenance sector is desirable but not essential

Benefits & conditions

£28,865 Basic + 35-Hour Working Week + Monday to Friday + Supportive Team, * Basic salary of £28,865
