Job description

Develops BOM (bills of material) structures and analyzes Part Data inputs from engineering functional areas such as product design or manufacturing engineering to support successful implementation of new products and product updates for a specific manufacturing unit. At this level individuals are working independently with limited guidance from more senior employees or their manager. Work completed by individuals at this level is expanded to include more functional teams or full product structure depending on size and product(s) being supported at the manufacturing unit they are supporting., + Local Generalist tactical execution, + Support others by carrying out a range of product development and engineering activities, such as analyzing client situations or interpreting data.

  • Develop testing standards and procedures under the direction of professional colleagues.

  • Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional inquiries. Involves following procedures and precedents.

  • Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.

  • Draft and maintain basic technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and create backup files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.

  • Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization’s policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.

  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Requirements

  • SAP experience

  • Strong data analysis

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Excel-advanced

  • High attention to detail

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, will accept Associate’s., + Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

  • Previous experience with SAP, PDMlink, Microsoft Office Suite (experience with PowerBI/PowerApps would be a plus)

  • Continuous Learner mindset with desire to improve processes

  • Willingness to adapt and learn new processes
